The Purpose of Ministry is to teach believers about their faith and how to develop a walk with God so they can disciple others. In terms of youth, the goal is the same, but with the additional focus of supporting the parents as they seek to raise their children biblically. This is accomplished by supporting the parents in their decisions regarding child-rearing, and teaching the youth the importance of personal evangelism and submission to authority. We also intend to use discipleship groups to teach youth how to disciple others.
Our goal is to encourage an environment which is conducive to right thinking and right attitudes while avoiding the common mistake of allowing the youth to become separated from the rest of the church body. We believe youth-focused meetings are helpful, but that youth should also be encouraged to be in services with their parents.
